Aicha Fofana is an accomplished business and healthcare professional with more than 25 years of leadership experience across customer service, human services, and public health. Known for her strong analytical abilities, outstanding communication skills, and collaborative approach, she has built a career dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Aicha holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from College America in Denver, Colorado, and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Stevens-Henager College. Her academic foundation, combined with extensive hands-on experience, has shaped her into an effective leader capable of managing complex programs, diverse teams, and multifaceted healthcare operations. She is also bilingual in English and French.

Since 2012, Aicha has served as the Owner and Director of Spectrum Support Services, a nonprofit healthcare organization based in Denver. In this role, she oversees all operational functions of the agency, guiding its mission to provide comprehensive support to individuals with mental disabilities. She leads strategic planning efforts focused on expanding services, improving client outcomes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Aicha directs budget management and resource allocation, supervises multidisciplinary teams, and fosters partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies. Her leadership also extends to implementing quality assurance standards, promoting staff development, and representing the organization in community and stakeholder engagements.

Before her current role, Aicha gained valuable front-line experience at Developmental Pathways as a Life Skills Specialist. There, she supported individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals, providing assistance with daily living, health, emotional well-being, and community engagement. Her compassionate, hands-on approach helped promote independence and enhance the quality of life for each individual she served.

Aicha’s foundational experience also includes serving as an office assistant in both hospital and long-term care settings, where she handled medical records, scheduling, administrative duties, and resident support. These early roles strengthened her organizational abilities and deepened her commitment to service.

With a career defined by dedication, leadership, and a passion for helping others, Aicha Fofana continues to make a meaningful impact within the healthcare and human services communities.
